ICDL Asia Digital Educators Awards 2026

Empowering the teaching profession by identifying and elevating the digital competencies of educators at the forefront of integrating technology into best pedagogical practices.
Awards Initiative
First held in 2024, this initiative is designed to highlight educators who showcase innovative ideas and methodologies that demonstrate how ICT can support pedagogy, resulting in measurable positive impact towards educational achievement.
Participants will complete an internationally recognized ICDL certification in the ICT in Education module and submit a project presentation.
Eligibility Rules:
- Open to all educators from ICDL ATCs and partner institutions.
- Covers primary, secondary, college, and university levels.
- Winners from previous editions are not eligible to participate.
Important Timelines
ICT in Education Module
Participants are required to complete and pass the online ICDL ICT in Education certification test.
- • Covers lesson planning, preparation of classroom resources (quizzes, simulations), student data analysis, and AI tools.
- • Certification test is online, invigilated by Danawa Education.
- • Duration: 45 minutes (36 multiple-choice & hot-spot questions).
- • Passing Score: 75%.
Presentation Project
Theme: "ICT in Education: Harnessing ICT for Enhanced Learning Experiences". Submit slides and a video summarizing your project ideas.
- • Presentation slides: PDF format, maximum 20 slides. Must include cover slide (Title, Name, CRN, Institution).
- • Summary video: MP4 format, duration 2 to 5 minutes. Written/spoken in English or with English subtitles.
- • Submit files by email to [email protected].
Awards & Recognition
Winners receive the Digital Educators' Awards trophy. All participants who complete submissions receive a digital certificate of participation alongside their official ICDL certificate.
